Sadly I remember that day more vividly that most of the days of my life.
I have not thought about that day for a while, but tonight it came very strongly in my head.
Maybe because the fear of trouble right now is higher than or similar as it was for the rest of 2001.
I was at work, in my hometown. I was in a internship program. Me and the rest of the team were reading documents from the 18th century and laughing as usual. At the entrance it used to have a TV, someone went out for coffee and came back saying a plane had crashed into the World Trade Center. I had no idea which building was that. Back then the only New York's building I knew by name was The Empire State. We all went to the entrance and the TV showed images from The Twin Tower. That I knew. Then I knew.
