I wish I could pick up just one quote from this song, but I couldn't. It's perfect, it matches exactly how we feel, how I feel right now about everything that's going on in São Paulo, Rio and spreading to the whole country.

We need a lot of things but first of all freedom and respect, so we will be able to debate and change. We have the right to disagree, to doubt and to express our frustration. 

We are right. And we know it.

1. The Afghan Whigs - I wish I have seen them in Barcelona or Porto...

2. Veto - I will someday, and I'm pretty sure it will be amazing!

3. Norah Jones - I loved the first time I saw her in concert and it would be lovely to hear the last record live.

4. Fiona Apple - I'm very curious about the new record

5. Pearl Jam - I even planned going to Scandinavia to see them this summer but it didn't happen :(

The danish way to rock!

Falling in love with Danmark was something I wasn't expecting... one of the many reasons I think was "the danish way to rock", mixing electronic and rock just the way I love.
So let give you just a sample of my 3 favorites dansk bands:



VETO was the first danish band I felt in love with, even before going there. The lyrics, the sound, the pain.. I felt I was meeting my soulmate band...

This post's title was took from Nephew's song for the 2010 World Cup and the national team actually joined them singing the song and shooting the video. Take a look:



Nephew has so many great songs, it's hard to suggest just one. But I'll give them another post soon...

This last one is from Spleen United. The song has a very 80s keyboard introduction and I love the videoclip. If you like it try also "Failure 1977" my favorite SU's song.
